Wealth Management Advisor

I am grateful for the opportunity to work with so many meaningful, long term client relationships.  Providing wealth planning advice for the evolving needs of our clients has been and continues to be incredibly fulfilling.

I believe that financial peace of mind is best achieved through ongoing listening, communication, and guidance.  It is within these principles that an in-depth and accurate understanding is born – the essence of Insight Family Wealth.

At the heart of my life is family, my incredible wife Kimberly, and our kids, Mathias, Lucia, and Camila.  We are loving the adventures of each season and stage of life together!

For “extra curricular” activities, I’ve recently taken up road biking, which has been both challenging and a lot of fun.  I also love playing tennis whenever I can find a willing partner.  As a family, we love spending time in the Okanagan or simply gardening in our backyard.  Reading a quality book or listening to an intriguing podcast are ways I like to unwind in the evening.

I have a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) specializing in Finance from Trinity Western University and hold the Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) designation.

A little bit about myself……

The first part of my career was spent at Met Life, working for 13 years in various administrative roles – including Executive Assistant to one of the top Agents in Canada and then Branch Administrator/Office Manager for the Vancouver location. This was an impactful time of my life and I learned a ton about the industry from my time there.

I took time away from my career when my children were young and re-entered the industry in 2002 working at the Assante Abbotsford office. Our 3 children have now grown into successful and adventurous young adults pursuing their own careers.

My husband Wayne and I have been very involved in our kids’ sports and community activities and are still involved with a Young Adults Ministry as well as serving on Boards for Community Associations. We love the outdoors, including camping, hiking, fishing as well as snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter.

One of our core goals at Insight Family Wealth is to deliver superior client service. I love having the opportunity to help people each day and to hopefully bring a little more peace of mind to their financial picture.

Kolya Lozowchuk

Administrative Associate

My path to the financial world has been shaped by a wide range of experiences, from lifeguarding and food service to working in management. These roles taught me how to stay calm under pressure, connect with people, and stay organized, all skills I’ve found incredibly valuable in my role at Insight Family Wealth.

Over the past year, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know and support our client base. Being part of their financial journey, even in a supporting role, has given me a strong appreciation for the trust clients place in our team. I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful, personalized planning can positively impact lives, and it has deepened my passion for growing within this field.

At Insight Family Wealth, I’ve learned that clients often come to us with worries about their financial future. Our goal is to help ensure that when you leave, you do so with a newly found sense of clarity and peace of mind.

I’m currently working to complete both my Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and Canadian Securities Course (CSC) by the new year. I am also on track to finish my BBA with specializations in Finance and Financial Planning at Trinity Western University in the spring of 2026. I’m excited about the opportunity to continue expanding my knowledge and taking on more responsibility as my career progresses.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I also love playing basketball and spending time at the gym. Staying active helps me stay focused and energized for whatever the day brings.
